Section 01Software Licensing & Usage Scope
CLATIUM is an independent Rust software laboratory operated by Jay (contactjayclatty). Each system in the catalog is distributed according to the license and terms specified in its respective source repository or binary release archive.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written commercial agreement or repository license file, all software artifacts, source code, and documentation are provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Section 02Third-Party Trademarks & Upstream Attribution
Minecraft Non-Affiliation Notice: CLATIUM and CLATIUM Launcher are not official Minecraft products, and are not approved by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft Corporation. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
Upstream Fork Attribution: CLATIUM Launcher is developed as a fork of Horizon, an open-source project not created by CLATIUM. CLATIUM clearly distinguishes in-house work from upstream dependencies on every project specification page.
Section 03Binary Distribution & Windows SmartScreen
Public releases published by CLATIUM (such as CLATIUMPOOL v0.1.0) are compiled directly from Rust source for 64-bit Windows (x86_64-pc-windows-msvc) as standalone native executables.
- Unsigned Independent Executables: Binaries do not currently carry a commercial Extended Validation (EV) Authenticode certificate. Consequently, Windows Defender SmartScreen or browser download filters may display an "unrecognized app" prompt on first launch.
- Mandatory Checksum Verification: Users should only download binaries from
clatium.dev or official GitHub Releases under github.com/contactjayclatty, and verify the file's SHA-256 hash using PowerShell (Get-FileHash) prior to execution.
Section 04Zero-Telemetry Website & Software Privacy
clatium.dev is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. CLATIUM does not embed third-party advertising trackers, behavioral analytics scripts, or cross-site tracking cookies.
Desktop software built by CLATIUM stores configuration locally on your machine (for example, in clatuimpool.cfg for CLATIUMPOOL) and only initiates network connections when explicitly required by user action (such as Microsoft sign-in and game resource preparation through the Horizon backend in CLATIUM Launcher).
Section 05Coordinated Security Vulnerability Disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability, memory safety defect, or credential handling issue in any CLATIUM project, please report it privately before public disclosure:
